The Official Site of Rio Rancho, NM - Cherry Road Project: "The City of Rio Rancho's Public Works Department will be hosting an open house regarding the Cherry Rd. rehabilitation and roundabout project.
This meeting will take place on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Rio Rancho City Hall in the Governing Body Chambers. The open house will extend from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The purpose of this meeting is to inform citizens of this proposed project and obtain their input. This project will include the reconstruction of Cherry Rd. from the Unser Blvd. Frontage Rd. to 10th St. and changes to Cherry Rd. and 17th Ave. to create a roundabout intersection. Information about pedestrian / bicycle accommodations, impacts to traffic and storm drain improvements will also be provided."
