Happy Thanksgiving to our Rio Rancho friends!

Thanks to so many of you, we have so much to be thankful for!  We are so blessed with wonderful family, friends, and yes, real estate. Being able to do what we love and be successful at it is awesome!

We celebrated Thanksgiving with out of town and in town family already... but plan to get together again tomorrow for a simple meal of chowder and plenty of board games and simplicity.  With the technology available to us it seems we almost never just turn off work.

May you have much to be thankful for and enjoy the holiday!  We appreciate you and look forward to many long friendships.

Idalia Road Marketplace in Rio Rancho, New Mexico

Recently, someone told me of a new business in Rio Rancho... and here's what I found about it for this weekends events...  It's called the Idalia Road Marketplace... sort of a flea market for Rio Rancho combined with a Growers Market, I'm told.

Magic Matt will also be on hand to dazzle you with his slight of hand and magic personality.
We’re located on Idalia Road just one-half mile north of Northern Blvd. Or, Mapquest us at 1320 Idalia Road NE, Rio Rancho, 87174.

Best Places to Raise Your Kids: 2010: Best Place to Raise Your Kids: New Mexico - BusinessWeek

Rio Rancho is so honored to make BusinessWeeks top list of places to raise your kids in New Mexico. With the opening of its new state of the art Cleveland High School to coincide with Rio Rancho High and the moderate priced housing, it's no wonder. The advancement of construction at the New City Center is also helping to stimulate economic development. HP should be opening December 2nd and the CNM and UNM campuses are under construction as well. On the activity side, Rio Rancho has recently added an indoor swimming facility, has numerous soccer fields used for YAFL & soccer, little league baseball & softball fields with a new little league facility under construction in North Rio Rancho, youth hockey leagues, youth bowling leagues and numerous parks with walking trails. Rio Rancho also has an excellent Parks, Recreation & Community Services division. New schools, new continuing education facilities, and many youth activity opportunities definitely make Rio Rancho an excellent place to raise your kids.

Make Over to Alegria Community

Pulte Homes is a familiar home builder to the Rio Rancho area and it’s good to hear that Pulte will be investing one million dollars to rejuvenate the Alegria Community. Pulte recently merged with Centex who started the Alegria Adult Community. Welcoming Pulte into the mix includes Del Webb who also merged with Pulte 8 years ago. Having all these excellent builders now under one roof is a win-win situation.

ABQJOURNAL WEST/BIZ: Welcome, Del Webb!

Thank you... to all our Veterans!

We tip our hats to all veterans today and every day. Honoring our active military men and women along with our many veterans is a vital part of our society today. Remembering all those who came before us and our fallen heroes is truly out of respect and complete admiration for those who have given and sacrificed so much for our continued freedoms. What can we say other than…

THANK YOU!
GOD BLESS YOU!

Rio Rancho Homes and Land update

Home sales and prices for homes in Rio Rancho continue to outpace Albuquerque. Recent statistics by the NM Board of Realtors shows that Rio Rancho is holding it's own in home sales and value. We believe a lot of that has to do with the Hewlett Packard employees arriving to town, along with the great school systems and low crime levels.

If you're interested in homes in Rio Rancho or Albuquerque, please call or email and we'll be happy to assist you. Buying or selling, we can show you how to take advantage of the real estate market here in New Mexico.

All the best, Tracy
