Sandoval County Tax Values mailed out for Rio rancho, Placitas, Corrales....

The Sandoval County Assessors office has mailed all "Notice of Value" of properties.  You should have already received yours for land and homes.  Sandoval County covers a large area including Rio Rancho, Corrales, Bernalillo, Placitas, Algodones, San Ysidro, and parts of Sandia Park.

The Notice of Value is notifying you of what the Assessor's Office has determined to be the value of your property.  It is not a tax bill, but the value is used at the end of the year to determine your tax.  NOW is the time to protest if you believe your properties is valued too high.  For homes in Sandoval County, many will be assessed too high as the value has come down. For Rio Rancho land, the same is true.

Students Vie for $10K Grant

A hearty congratulation goes out to the Rio Rancho art students who won a $10,000 art grant by winning a VANS sponsored shoe decorating competition! This group competed against other art classes around the country just to make the final four. Upon visiting California, a trip to Disneyland, and a tour of the Vans Corporation, these Rio Rancho art students were judge in the end to be the big winners.

Loma Colorado neighborhood by Pulte Homes in Rio Rancho NM

While showing homes for sale in Rio Rancho, NM, today, I visited the new homes for sale by Pulte in Loma Colorado.  The real estate here is great!  The location in Rio Rancho is also great.  Home buyers and sellers love this neighborhood for many reasons.

Cleveland To Host NM Symphony Orchestra Concert
